From my grandpa\u2019s collection of old slides<\/strong><\/a> comes this charming snapshot of Polperro, a small fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall, likely taken in the 1950s or 60s.<\/p>\n

The photo captures a moment on the quay, where people are strolling along the harbour, past the old inns and tea rooms, with a sign for the museum. The bright summer skirts and dresses and neat jackets capture a slower, more graceful pace of life, and the warm sunlight makes Polperro look timeless.<\/p>\n
